I was at an art fair in June of 2005 and saw a Harley Davidson motorcycle parked behind my booth. The day was beautiful and sunny which created some nice reflections in the beautifully maintained chrome. I took several reference photos and upon viewing the photos noticed my reflection in the chrome of the center headlight. Thus, Self Portrait with Harley. I am only 4 foot 10 inches tall and I told my husband this is the only time he would ever see me tall and thin!!
